Our Historic Building Is a Work of Love

Quaintly located in Lake Elsinore, Mountainview Small Animal Hospital is surrounded by mountains (as the hospital’s name suggests) and a beautiful lake. Volunteers constructed the building in the late 1950s to serve as a community center for the American Legion and VFW. To this day, the 1959 dedication plaque still shines proudly on the front corner of the building. Since 1977, when Dr. Tom Jessup bought the facility, this charming old building has been our home away from home, where we have made the commitment to care for the area’s pets as if they were our own.

At Mountainview Small Animal Hospital, we are committed to having a team of the best veterinary medicine professionals in the Lake Elsinore and Canyon Lake areas. Each one of our staff members has the skills and education to do the job of taking care of your dog or cat—and the heart to do it with compassion.

About Us

We went to Mountainview Small Animal Hospital after a bad experience with another vet. They were very detailed and gave great advice. After a few visits and treatments our dog looks and feels better than ever. It is important to us to feel comfortable with the people that are helping us with our dogs (our family member) health. Thank you, we will always be grateful.
